Wool4School 2013 – Dress a Royal

This year was to “dress a royal” and judging was a significant task as close to 1200 designs were submitted across years 7 to 10 including outfits for the Duchess of Cambridge, the Princess of Monaco, the Queen, Princess Beatrice, and even Prince Harry.

“This entry involved a strong creative statement about the qualities of wool. The student had researched the fabric and style of garment likely to be worn by the Duchess of Cambridge, formerly Kate Middleton. It ticked all the boxes,"-  Jonathan Ward

"It was encouraging to see just how many teachers had picked up the competition and embedded it onto their classroom teaching. This was evident in the quality of entries that were submitted from a broad range of schools from across the country. The standard and variety of entries was outstanding and I hope everyone enjoyed being involved," - Katrina Wheaton-Penniall.
